Size Guide
Ordering online should not feel like a guess. This page shows you how to measure yourself, and which size to pick in each of our categories. If you would rather just be told the answer, email us your measurements and we will match you to a size.
How to measure
Women's bust, waist and hip
- Bust — measure around the fullest part of your bust, tape level and snug but not tight. Wear the bra you would wear with the garment.
- Waist — your natural waist, not where your jeans sit. Bend to one side: the crease that forms is your natural waistline.
- Hip — measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat, feet together.
Men's chest, waist and sleeve
- Chest — measure around the fullest part of your chest, tape under your arms and level across your shoulder blades.
- Waist — measure around your natural waistline, keeping the tape relaxed. Do not pull it in.
- Neck — measure around the base of your neck with one finger of slack under the tape.
- Sleeve — measure from the centre back of your neck, over your shoulder, down to your wrist bone.
Foot length
- Stand on a sheet of paper with your heel against a wall.
- Mark the tip of your longest toe, then measure from the wall to the mark.
- Measure both feet and use the longer one.
- Do this in the afternoon, wearing the socks you plan to wear with the shoes — feet swell slightly during the day.
Head and hands
- Head — measure around your head just above the ears and across the middle of your forehead.
- Hand — measure around your knuckles, thumb excluded, keeping the tape loose enough to slide.

| 3XL | 24–26 | 47.5–49.5 | 40.5–42.5 | 50.5–52.5 |
For tops, dresses and outerwear: choose by your bust measurement. Our knitwear is cut with room to layer, so it will feel more generous than the numbers suggest.
For bottoms: choose by your waist and hip. If your waist and hip fall into two different sizes, take the larger one. Styles with an elasticated or drawstring waist will give you more leeway.

Shoe width
Some of our styles are offered in several widths. If a product page shows a width option, here is what the letters mean:
- B — narrow
- D — medium / standard
- 2E–3E — wide
- 4E — extra wide
Not sure? Most people who normally find shoes too tight across the ball of the foot should take a wide fitting. Our wide-toe styles also give more room than the width letter alone suggests.
Hats and gloves

|---|---|

| L / XL | 22.5–23.5 |
| One size (adjustable) | 21.5–23 |

| S | 6.5–7 |
| M | 7.5–8 |
| L | 8.5–9 |
Why the numbers on a product page look bigger
The chart above is your body. The chart on an individual product page is the garment itself, measured flat and doubled — so it will always read larger, because a garment has to fit around you and still let you move. A cardigan with a 41-inch chest is cut to fit a body closer to 34 inches, and the extra is the room you feel when you move your arms.
So: use this page to find your size, then check the product page if you want to know exactly how much room that specific piece gives you. Where a product page shows different numbers to the ones here, trust the product page — those are taken from that exact garment.
Between two sizes?
- Knitwear, sweaters, cardigans and coats — size up for a relaxed, layered look, or size down for a closer fit.
- Pants, jeans and leggings — size up. A waistband that is slightly loose is easier to live with than one that digs in.
- Shoes — size up, especially if you wear thicker socks or have a wider foot. A little extra length is fine; extra width is not something you can stretch.
- Anything still uncertain — email us before you order. It is much easier than a return.
